Woody I put the CAI on the car just days after buying it so I really can't tell you if there's a difference in performance or not. However, it looks really nice especially since the filter is blue like my car. How can I tell if I have the PZEV engine? And on the suspension/spring question, I suggest you go ahead and do a complete set up. You can buy conversion kits from sites like Focuscentral.com and then buy a kit made for a 200-2004 (please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to give the kid false information). If your looking for a good kit at a good price, the Saleen/eibach kit and the stock SVT kits are the best at around 400 dollars. It will tune your handling without comprimising ride comfort. Or if you wanted something alittle stiffer and sportyer...... not to mention more expensive, you could go with Koni's, or even coilovers, but then you'd be getting into the 1200 dollar range.
