I just changed my oil the other day with Royal Purple. I hoped that it would give me a little performace gain, but I didn't notice any gain. I was wondering if any one has tried this oil and what they think about it.

It was $7 a bottle. I dont think it was worth it.[bigcry]

i use royal purple. no performance noitices, but the fact that i can safely go about 7500 miles on a oil change is nice

I have tried several oils, royal purple included. I have used super tech, ford full synthetic, royal purple, and mobil 1. Two focuses. No noticeable difference....cars run great with any of them. The super tech and their filters are certainly priced well below the others listed.

your not gonna gain much if any performance from changing your oil, that only happens when you havent changed it in years and tens of thousands miles later, the one good think with royal purple is that you dont have to worry about changing your oil as often, because to oil holds up to more demand and abuse that a conventional oil and wont break down as fast. like MattZX3 said you can run this stuff for a while, 7,500 miles or longer and you could do the same with most synthetic oil, but royal purple is my oil of choice

mobil 1 oil is just as good if not better and cheaper.

I use Mobile 1 Synthetic

My dad has always used Mobil 1 full synthetic in his cars. It's worked for him for over 30 years, so I guess it will work for me!!!!

Royal purple says it gives a hp boost to your car. I know im not going to buy it anymore. Cost way to much for being oil.

btw to change oil on an spi sucks
