: 2001 SOHC - 2002 Zetec Engine Swap ? DBFoster 08-03-2008, 09:18 AM I have a 2001 Focus SE SOHC with ~225,000 miles and the engine has given up but everything else is in good shape. I found a 2002 Zetec engine in good condition but without the engine control module. Can I bolt in the 2002? I have an automatic transmission in my 2001. Thanks! Timmeh! 08-03-2008, 04:34 PM idk about the SOHC and Zetec differences, but im sure the swap can be done. you'll def need a computer and wiring harness, but it can't be any harder than my swap!
