Yes its a fairly common problem I had mine go out once, another guys went out once, and I believe another guy is currently on his 3rd alternator. Thats all in the DFW area.

im currently on my third. the second went out within 25000 miles. i was pissed. a friend of mine that drives a sedan has had his go out twice. it was funny, the fool called me up and was like my car isnt starting. i went and hooked the jumper cables up and charged it for a bit and the alt started smoking!

There are 12 DFW's on the "I'm Going" list so we should be up.

I'm from Palo Pinto but I've been bouncing back and forth between my mom and dad's place in Mineral Wells to my In law's place in Grand Prairie.

That's like a 2 1/2 hour drive ... lots of miles on the car being tacked on.

Can anyone tell me off the bat if I can fit 17" Focus Rally Racing Wheels and a 2" drop on my car without having to cut anything out? I'd like to meet some people sometime and get some good ideas for my own car.

If the back spacing is right you can. Exactly which wheels are you looking at? Yes you can fit 17's with a 2" drop but it all depends on the backspacing and what size tire you have on there.

yuppers ... I would say some good rolling of fenders would also help with some tire rub

^^that works also. Raymond do you rub? My friend has the eibach's pro or what ever the one with the most drop and he rubs sometimes with stock SVT wheels (his is an SVT)
