Not sure if anyone on here went...much less cared but this year i just couldn't pass it up...not when i saw that a certain car was gonna be there...

So last year i got to see the R GTI and the Thunder Bunny...and this year it was the W12! I was so freakin excited to see the car in person...It's a shame that they didn't turn it on but that's ok...

I didn't get many other pictures cause i forgot to check the battery before i left my house...so i just took a few of that...and a couple of some RS8's which looked pretty badass in person too

I also got to sit in a brand new Audi TT which was real nice with the leather and suede. The guy in the booth was pretty cool...he actually insisted and kinda forced us to sit in the car, lol. He probably would've taken us for a drive also but with too many things blocking the path and too many people it wasn't gonna happen.

All in all it wasn't much different from last year but it was definately nice seeing some new cars there...and of course seeing the line of VW's and Audi's going into and leaving English Town is always nothing short of spectacular.

Yeah, they had a little feature on it either last season or the one before unfortunately though the car didn't do so well on their track.

Lol, you know...if not for Englishtown being not even 10 miles from where i live...i don't know if i'd be going as often as i do. And i'm with you though...I love and always have loved VW's, especially the Golf's

VW's come with the best shoes... I wish I knew this was happening at E-town, of all places. I can make it to E-town-

I called off work to go but my friends bailed out and didn't want to drive (which is good cause his MkII is kinda sketch) and I didn't want to drive out. VWvortex should have a good photo gallery up soon.

Lol, it was kinda last minute thing...i wasn't originally planning on going until i heard that the W12 was gonna be there...and that was like saturday night. So basically...i paid 20 bucks (sunday ticket) just to go see the W12 with a camera that had a dead battery...was it worth it? Hell YEAH!

But I only stayed a couple of hrs cause i had to be back home to be with the family to celebrate my brothers birthday. As for the sidelines Englishtown rd was the best one...since everyone was comming in and leaving you saw EVERYONE there. There were tons of people pulled onto the side just filming all the cars passing by. I'm always fascinated by how many VW's and Audi's i see on the way to and from the show.

I will say though...this year the people weren't as "friendly" as the previous years...noone waved to one another and barely anyone made eye contact when driving by.

Hey were you there last year? I cruised up there from VA with Eurotuner magazine...this was last summer when I had my Passat. It was a lot of fun- I did a couple of runs on the strip, and competed in Koni's Autocross comepetition...some nice cars were out there including a yellow RS6 who drove that thing so hard his continental's started to chunk off! yeah man there were like 40 or 50 cars but the RGTI was amazing- it sounded great and was fast as shiiiiiit! there was an S4 with upgraded twin turbos that pulled next to him (one of the Eurotuner staffmembers driving the RGTI) and they went for like 5 seconds and the RGTI blew him out the water. The thunderbunny was there too- it was a modded 2.5 with nice sounding center exit exhaust.

Lol, oh i know the thunder bunny was there ;) Those 2 cars were the main reason i really went last year. 2 of the sexiest cars i've seen...just a shame i didn't get to sit in them. Next year let me know if you're with eurotuner again and if they have some hot cars so i can sit in them at least ;)

When did it race though? was it on a saturday?

oh neither the thunder bunny nor the RGTI raced on the strip but they did a couple of short runs on the way to NJ...I most likely will plan to go next summer if i get an Audi after I'm done with my undergrad (had no luck with the VW, lol).
