My transmission had been slipping so I'm thinking of just putting a new Lentech in there. I wanna get rid of my old one but I don't know what they go for used. It has about 42,000 miles on it.

There are some issues with it. I took it to a transmission guy and this is what he told me:

Needs a new end cover (http://www.transkits.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?page_content=J39A) and possibly clutches and a new solenoid.

It's currently filled with brand new Royal Purple fluid.

So what would be a good selling price for this if I sell it as is to include shipping?

the RP will be coming out when you take it out of the car. it only retains about 1-2 quarts, everything will fall out of the axle holes if you dont drain it first.

cant tell you what an end cover is, i dont know either form of chinese

solenoids are common, theyre 50 bucks each

I would pay only 50-100 plus shipping, these trans's are EXPENSIVE to work on.

This is the end cover http://www.transkits.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?page_content=J39A. Yeah I was told $800 to fix it (including labor, oil, and filter). We'll see...when I have this thing out I may decide to keep it and rebuild it slowly and sell it as a rebuilt...
