ok now make a kit for duratec ;)

We have seen alot of interest for the Duratec and since we have had SPA Turbo USA for the past year, we have convinced SPA Turbo to meet some of the demands of the US market. So hopefully with enough interest, we will be able to cater the Duratec crowd.

huh. I thought most of the SPA stuff that I've seen before were three bolt flange patterns.[scratch][8]

Yes, most of SPA Turbo manifolds and wastegates comes with a 3 bolt flange. As I said in the previous reply, since we have had SPA Turbo USA for the past year, we have convinced SPA Turbo to meet some of the demands of the US market including a way to use a 2 bolt wastegate on their manifolds. So on most manifolds including the Ford Focus one, the wastegate flange surface has enough space to drill & tap a hole to allow you to use a 2 bolt wastegate.

We also highly recommend SPA Turbo wastegates to the US market but since they're currently only offered in a 3 bolt flange, SPA Turbo also came out with a 2 bolt to 3 bolt conversion flange so that these wastegates can be used on 2 bolt wastegate flanged manifolds.

Good deal.

Thanks !

Sent you a PM for my closest local dealer, this is a pretty decent deal [thumb]

Replied back kenzx3 .

the turbo is 4 bolt. the wastegate is a 3 bolt flange.

That is correct, but you are able to use a 2 bolt wastegate if you like.

Hmm. The pic shows a two bolt flange for the wastegate. What are the available spring rates for the wastegate Billy?

Spring rates on both MCS and Compact wastegate is 7 psi PRELOAD .

i believe the bottom flange on the wastegate is a 3 bolt...im not positive tho...

Yes that's correct, the wastegate is a 3 bolt but SPA Turbo will be releasing 2 bolt flange wastegate on both their MCS wastegate and Compact wastegate.

That was the intention of having this promotion. To offer a deal on parts that any turbo kit would NEED and leave the rest to the builder's imagination.

you loose a/c with this kit....

With this setup, you will be able to keep a/c . Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks .

I never heard of SPA turbo before. How does it compare to the turbonetics and garret turbos? What type of warranty does the turbo have? What turbonetics turbo would compare to this one? Do you have compressor maps? How much psi and cfm will the turbo support? how big is the exhaust wheel?

I did some searching around. I saw a post saying the turbo sits too close to the engine with that manifold. It will not fit on the car unless the crankcase ventilation is done differently. Do you offer the flange to bolt onto the block to relocate the PCV valve system?

What else is needed to make this a complete turbo kit? Anyone have suggestions of what else I would need to buy?

Not trying to get into a pissing contest here but In my opinion you will be doing good to make 300HP to the wheels (I am guessing you are talking to the wheels ) with that turbo

I would like more info on your turbo a T3S60 STG5 wont make 350HP on the Focus

Do you have any dynos making the quoted close to 400 HP yet on a Focus or any over 300 ?

You can find alot of answers to your questions in this thread.

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=143224 Thanks C-F-M .

The turbocharger & wastegate has a 1 year limited warranty. And the manifold has a lifetime warranty.

The size of the exhaust wheel is 49mm exducer & 58.6mm inducer and it is a 70 trim.

Please let me know if there are any other questions that you have.

Can you guys work out a "Special" deal option for the entire kit for FF members? I know members would be more interest if they can purchase an entire kit versus something they'll need to piece together.

Yes thank you , I know CFM and know that a 35 shot of nitrous was also used adding a good 50+HP to the dyno graph he had 10.2 compression 99% of the people would only build the Zetec to 8.8 to 9.2 so the higher compression adds more to the graph , that car is 95% out of the norm for around here , so with that graph it is hard to see how it spools and what power it would really make , do you have any other dynos of this turbo on a ZX3

Again I AM NOT trying to put anyone on the spot here just trying to get info that will help everyone

I assumed that this was 400 wheel HP sence you mentioned the CFM car is that correct or engine HP

We do keep all SPA parts in-stock for this kit. We also have parts needed to complete your turbo system like MAF flange, pipes, clamps, silicone hoses, intercoolers, SCT, Dialbosport, Injectors, and other parts. Here is a link of some of these parts. (http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffocus.c-f-m.com%2Findex.asp%3FPageAction%3DVIEWCATS%26Category%3D655)

We are working on offering a DIY Intercooler kit, which will be intercooler, pipes, hoses, and clamps for zetec/svtf. We are developing our complete intercooled turbo kit using SPA and SMAX components. Some of you may know our CFM prototype turbo car runs very well and makes 308fwhp on 16 psi of boost and ran 12.4 sec at 114mph 1/4 mile at the track.

We do offer the same deal on the DIY Turbo kit. (http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffocus.c-f-m.com%2Findex.asp%3FPageAction%3DVIEWPROD%26ProdID%3D1831%26HS%3D1)It will ready to ship toward the end of next week.

The thread means this kit can sustain 350hp. But you will get nowhere near that without spending a lot of money.

This is a good starter kit with the potential to grow into.
