I have this weird stumble when my car is idling usually until it gets a good warm up. The RPMS will hang at like 1200 for about 5 mins when i start the car and then drop to normal. When i am sitting at a light sometimes my RPMS will raise and fall from like 700-1200 and back. Any ideas? Ive already done PCV, Oil and filter, Fuel filter, Plugs and wires (motorcraft). Is this common on the SVT? If not what could it be. Also if it is common does a Diablo Tune Help fix idle at all?

What year is it? Some SVT's I have heard had this problem and it was some issue with the ford factory tune and they got it retuned by ford.

Sorry thats my old tag. Its a 2003 comp orange SVT. Ill check tomorow at ford to see if i need a retune on my engine. Thanks

Oddly enuff I have the exact same problem. I have an 04' SVT. I actually let mine warm up for a few minutes. When you find the answer let me know!
