When it rains i seem to be leaking water in 2 places. One is right under the antenna and leaks through the head liner under the dome light and the other is leaking right by the pedals but comes from the roof where i put silicone. Anybody else have these problems and knows how to fix them?

Sorry about having to resurrect an old thread but I seem to be having the same issue and can't find a solution. My search came up with this thread and by the looks of it it's not a common problem. But I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

During heavier or prolonged rain I get water leaking into the cabin. The water comes in around the front where the headliner and dome light assembly meet. It then drips down onto the shifter boot area.
From where it seems the water is collecting it makes sense that the leak is from the area of the roof where the antenna is mounted.

Before taking anything apart, does anyone know how the antenna is mounted up there and if there is any weather stripping between the antenna and roof that may be the issue?

Anyone come up with anything since the last posting on this thread?

I think if u take off the dome light and then you can get to the antenna if i remeber correctly it was late when i did mine to take off the antenna but i dont think there is anything to prevent the rain on the antenna but im sure you would be able to.

hope that helps.

Ok, I poisted this on another thread, I hope this helps. First, let me explain what a TSB is, just in case you do not know what one is. A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin. These are the numbers of those TSBs. If you have someone at Ford pull these from their computer, it will help you to locate the leaks and tell you how to fix them. These TSBs are designed for the Focus. These older Focuses had bad water leaks all over. If you can find someone at Ford that can get you a copy of Ford's TSB on this, it will help you out a lot. those TSBs are 05-13-3 and 02-15-6 if i remember it right.
