Go aftermarket. It will be faster and probably cheaper. Try C-F-M, they have always been awesome to deal with.

this would be the time to go with a HD clutch a plate so this can be a good thing. Give her a kiss and a hug.

I agree with Kal, clutch replacements are just in the nature of the SVTF beast. It would have crapped out sooner or later anyways. I dont let people drive my car b/c I know the clutch will eventually die and I would hate for someone else to be behind the wheel when it does...It will save a lot of grief and resentment in the long run.

^^^^ same here, i rather be begin the wheel so i wont be that mad if something bad happen to my car... my sister drove it a couple days ago, big mistake, i guess im not a good passenger, i was "no", "no", "be more careful", " this is not your car"... so from now on, no one else drives my car unless is an emergency

I had a buddy who begged to drive my car and I told him it was a no go b/c of the clutch. He replied by saying "Ill buy you a new one if i tear it up"...I just laughed and made him get in the passengers seat.

I just got a new Clutchmaster stage 3 from CFM. You should use them. Very helpful and fast.

[mecry] my girlfriend will have to re-learn on my brand new exedy OEM-syle when i do the mtx swap [mecry]

she has driven a 3500 Dodge but it is not the same with 1/4 the torque on the focus, I see a brand new burnt clutch in my future [mecry]
