I see that there is a kit you can buy. I helped get my son a ford focus sedan, he is in the Marines and I bougth it wrecked for a good price and I am now getting it fixed up. but, it has no power windows or locks, he was kinda bummed when he heard that but was also excited to have a car when he gets home.. He is going to take it to CA but I would like to get this done before we ship it.. I called a ford dealer and they said it cant be done?? I have read here that many of done it.. I will pay someone to do this for me,, so if you know someone please email me...I really want to surprise him with this. thanks...

Well a project I am working on for mine is that I am going to install OEM parts, Harness's motors and what not. I know there is the whole, "Aftermarket Parts" but I like to do things differently. Ford says they will not install this for whatever reason, but I know my project wont be to hard nor is the aftermarket ones, plus they are reliable. Might try it, it only takes a day or so if you have the time!

Well I found someone nearby to put in the locks and power windows but it is 1040$$ I cant afford that.. How hard is this to do yourself? I see some of you have done this. My hubby says he will do it.. I see the kits at A1electric,, is this where we should buy??? can you really do it in a day? tell us the good and the bad before we attempt this.. thanks

This is high among most after-marketer's.

And not only that, Thanks to Roland07, here is a How To for installing them!

I will be honest, this is the easier of the two, I only want the factory ones to create more of a challenge for myself, or else I would install these!

I don't think it could be too hard, nor time consuming if you have some extra time to spare.

I didn't have a whole day to do mine and I was kinda experimenting when I did it. But with a guide and a solid day of labor, you can have it done. The toughest thing is installing the switches, but after that's done the rest is a breeze. PM me if you need any help!
