Do I have to buy a Predator to get his tune, or can I visit him in NC (before he retires to Mexico) and have it installed directly? (you know, without having to buy a damn Predator...)

I was wondering the same thing. Why would you need a flasher if you can just bring your car to tom and have him upload the files with his own.

incase you ever mod your car you would need to remove and update the tune. or sell your car and wanted to sell the tune to someone that could use it.
