: How much are EAP's going for?

Looking at possibly selling my SVTF late this year or early next year to upgrade to a Cobra, but I have no idea what they're going for right now. It's a 2004 Sonic Blue SVT Focus with the EAP package...good body/paint (few minor scratches, but I plan to get it detailed in the summer), a few mods (ORP, K&N drop-in, magnaflow cat-back), a few new parts (clutch master cylinder, sway bar endlinks). I know the mods and new parts don't mean anything, but at least the buyer will know it's been taken care of and some of the problem areas have been addressed. Has just over 60,000 miles. Not sure what kind of range I'd be looking at - hoping the knowledgeable people here might have a better idea.

i just got a set of the black ones for $130 a piece. you should be able to find the dark argent ones for about $90-100 if you look around.
There was one for sale not too long ago in the BST area:
You realize, you have 1 of only 74 made.
^^^That's 3 door numbers.
If you have a 5 door, they're even rarer. 1 of only 48.
IMHO, the mods lower the value.
But then again you don't have that many, and realistically it's the 60,000 miles that's going to have the largest effect.
I know...I'm at 61,500 now. [:(]
I'm not sure what the heck you're talking about LOL!
I do believe you replied in the wrong thread.

i wouldnt expect to get anything more than 8500 for your SVTF.
if you were to trade it in at a stealership, dont expect anything over 7000. they dont care about the rarity of your car.
keving, please watch where you are posting[thumb]

sonic blue WITH the EAP is VERY rare..
if i have my facts right, yours is one of about 80 or so made... thats if i have my facts right...

Whatever you do- do NOT trade it in! Your car has no REAL book value- it's just a plain old focus to a dealership- please keep the rare ones in the family man! Pay off the focus- keep it- then buy your cobra! or trade in something else- like a honda!
I'm guessing Kevin saw the title and thought he was just selling the wheels, not the car.
He was replying in the right place, he just misunderstood the question.

Yeah don't expect to get as much as you would....expect. I have had mine for sale at 12,500, 11,500, 10,500 and now about 9,800, and I still haven't had much in the way of calls. I took it to a few dealerships and was offered between 4,500 and 6,500 for it. I won't go any lower than 9,500..I'de rather keep her than let her go for so low. Besides, once you replace enough crap it is actually a very good car! Mine has 64,000 miles btw, and I think that some people believe that these cars only go to 100,000 then just die, when the truth of it is that if you take care of it well, it should go over 200,000 with ease.
