I would like to install insulation in my car all over. I am wondering how to remove the dash so I can remove the post plastic and get to the head-liner. Also how would I remove the center console, it looks like theres only screws under the cup holders.

I own a '07 sedan.

I really am curious how to do this and is it hard to do?

I'm not sure about the 2007, but I know on my '02 (for the center console) there's some screws in some dumb places, i.e. like under in front of the cup holders and other places. It takes some weird angled screw drivers and stuff to get it out, lol.

Yeah the rear cup holder have a weird thing it seems. Really the headliner seems like the hardest because of the window posts and center.

Yeah, by far that'll be your hardest job. I've never taken my headliner out, so I can't really help you there. Try searching google or even here on the forums for how to take window posts out.

Cool, yeah like I said I want to install insulation All over. Keeps noise and unwanted temperature out which will be very nice.

the dash would be hard to remove, all the eclectronics that have to come off... The center consolle is easy, just 2 bolts under cup holders + 1 in the back + you have to remove handrest first, by removing the cover on the back unscrewing 2 screws and sliding it out.
Doors, are easy. I think there are how-to's on doors, and headliner.
Also you might want to try hoodliner ~60 from ford, it did quiet down that engine a bit.

Yeah I'm wondering about dash to install leds in vents, do you have to remove dash to put leds in vents? I've already got the doors off before not hard at all. So pretty much headliner and dash.

OK figured out the headliner just pretty much yank at pillers and stuff it said. Do I need to take the dash off to install leds in vents?

No. The vents pop out pretty easily. There's a thread in here somewhere that goes into all that.

Yeah I figured that out today playing around with a flathead, but how can you run wire in the vent to the fuse box so wire isn't showing.

Taking out the radio gets you access to back there. And I dunno about a 2007, but earlier models you could remove the whole radio HVAC bezel.

Yeah you can, so you just put the leds in drop the wire and it will be hanging in footwells?
