has anyone gone through w/ the ATX to a MTX swap on a duratec?? if soo how much did you end up spending? and do you guys think a dealership(only if it was a reasonable price) wuld do the swap?

I highly doubt a dealership would even consider it...
Someone on here, no longer in business, used to sell a kit (including a used manual tranny) for 2k as I remember, then you had to figure the install. If you can't do the labor yourself the sanest thing to do is sell your car and buy one with a manual. And even if you can do the labor, unless you really love working on cars I would still consider that the sanest thing to do...
