I've had the Focus for 3 years now and I have another 3 to go. I've been going back and forth through my head to just completly gut the interior and have it as DD/Track Whore. Any input??? I was going to sell the whole interior here and on craigslist. How much can I possibly get for the entire thing? I mean no one is going to want the whole thing up front, but if everyone goes in on bits and pieces, do you think $1500 is hard to think of???

Also, I need input on people who have gutted interiors and let me know if the weight reduction is worth the hassle of road noise.

Thanks,

I've had mine out for about 2 years now. You get used to the noise and the ipod drowns most of it out. Wind noise is the worst. $1500 is a little high for all of the parts. I still have all of the seats, no one wants them. All of the panels sold pretty fast.
Yes it is worth it, lost about 200 pounds off of the car.

Int. leahter? We did a Neon, and it dropped about 300Lbs. No idea with the focus but I bet it is close. I LOVE SUNDAY HORNETS....

Here is the car and the flyer I made for Ryan

No offense, but $1500 is astronomical. The only way to get that is if it was a pristine SVT EAP interior complete, which it isn't. You are going to be lucky just to sell half of your parts.

I have the rear of my car gutted, and its only mildly louder.

i say... remove all rear parts, a, b and c pillar parts, roof liner, leave door panels and dash and center console and the fron section carpet.

Yeah, $1500 is a lil high, but I'm talkin dumb asses on Craigslist [hihi]! I swear, if you wait long enough those guys will pay anything [rofl]!

The only thing I'm affraid of is that there is no turning back for a long time if I sell all the parts AND if I don't and put them all back in, squeeks and creeks FTL!

I'd say go for it , i took everything out from the back and left my door pannels, carpet, and center counsol, my old job was kinda far so after a month i kinda got tired of driving with all that noice everyday so i put everything back in, but im deff going to take everything back out soon since i dont have to drive that much anymore
