starfuryt550 03-02-2008, 11:14 AM chad just did mine, they look amazing!

Chadinfocus 03-04-2008, 10:35 PM If you can do them also, what would you charge to do the 3rd brake & some clear corners on a hatch?
cbrenn71 03-04-2008, 11:08 PM the third brake on the zx3/svt is 35 dollars, and the corners are 20, however; i do not stock the corners or the third brake light for the hatchs, you would need to ship those to me. you would also have payments on top of the tint fee.
Chadinfocus 03-04-2008, 11:23 PM Payments on top of the tint fees? I am sorry, I don't understand what you mean by that.
cbrenn71 03-04-2008, 11:42 PM sorry, i meant you would have shipping fees on top of the tinting fee.
1badassfoci 03-05-2008, 03:31 AM What kit is on the Infinity?
-Ashley
cbrenn71 03-05-2008, 06:12 AM that is an 8,000k kit.
700whpfocus 03-19-2008, 02:52 PM 20000N ZX3 FOCUS . do u have headlights?
06Roush 03-19-2008, 02:56 PM what do you use, if you dont mind me asking. just wondering. i already did mine. but yours look alot glossier then mine.
cbrenn71 03-19-2008, 05:29 PM 20000N ZX3 FOCUS . do u have headlights?
not sure what the question is asking, shoot me a PM and let me know exactely what you're looking for. i'm assuming tinted headlights? painted headlights? or HID retrofits?
cbrenn71 03-19-2008, 05:29 PM what do you use, if you dont mind me asking. just wondering. i already did mine. but yours look alot glossier then mine.
i use a liquid tinting process.
rbrommel 04-17-2008, 11:10 AM Can someone post a pic of Medium tint, that's the level i think i'll go for, and i am curious as to what it looks like with no lights on, with lights on, and with brake lights on. Thanks
cbrenn71 04-17-2008, 12:45 PM the zx3 tails on the first page sitting on the counter top ,and the dodge ram tails leaning against the box in the grass are medium.
shepski 04-17-2008, 02:53 PM Your work looks amazing!
And I'm curious: what's the deal with tinting headlights? Are there legal implications that you know of (in particular states, at least)?
I am tempted to buy the Focus HID kit (OEM), but I'm not thrilled with how it'll look on my silver. HOWEVER, something exactly along the lines of those first headlight-tint pics (the lights on the MOPAR boxes) might just do the trick.
About how much would it cost? And how much would it compromise the light output? (I'd figure that with HIDs, I could lose a little yet still be ahead).
Thanks!
cbrenn71 04-17-2008, 04:35 PM You will need to check your state and local laws for legality, but it often comes to visibility and light output.
Are you wanting to purchase one of my HID upgrade kits, or are you referring to a purchase of the Mach HID lights from ford.
The light can be reduced around 10-17% with the darker tint, depending on vehicle, but the light tint only is around a 3-5% reduction.
The cost of tint is around 60 dollars shipped, if you would like to install it yourself, or i can do it as well, with an install charge (plus you would have to ship in your lenses).
PM me if interested,
and BTW - my HID kits are on sale from 275 plus shipping to 225 shipped
Chad
Unique Coatings
shepski 04-17-2008, 04:47 PM ^^ Yeah, I was talking about the Ford kits, which are still available new and shipped at about $800.
I would want you to do the tint.
Meanwhile, I still don't quite "get" what your HID kits are all about - is your kit for retrofitting any housing, or are you offering a complete package (including housing)?
cbrenn71 04-17-2008, 04:54 PM i just offer the components that replace your factory bulb, and include a ballast and wiring - which is just an upgrade kit.
i also offer retrofits, where i take your stock housing and add in a mercedes, bmw, infiniti, etc projector.
But the 225 kit is just replacement components to take your factory halogen lights to HID
If you're willing to drop 800 on new headlights, i can tell you a retrofit will outperform the Mach HID Housings from Ford. You would only have one projector in each housing, but it will perform as well as a 120,000 dollar Mercedes.
shepski 05-03-2008, 07:14 PM Do you have any pics of Focus HID retrofits ('00-'04) you've done?
cbrenn71 05-03-2008, 09:52 PM no i don't. never done one on the focus, but it is actually a simple design and should be easy to retrofit.
sqrly 06-24-2008, 10:33 PM where in ohio do you live
cbrenn71 06-24-2008, 10:46 PM we are currently in northern ky, near cincy, but will be picking up and moving shop in the next 1-2 weeks, just south a little of columbus
Focusbabe05 06-25-2008, 03:41 PM You think you would be able to do anything for the 08' would love to tent out the tail lights....
cbrenn71 06-25-2008, 07:32 PM absolutely. cost for a tinted core set is 215, and when you return your undamaged stockers, receive 100 back, less any shipping over 15 dollars.
Derek Zoolander 06-26-2008, 08:59 PM chad got the hids and got em in today... will post up some pics of them in the next couple days
Sn4ckM4st3r 06-29-2008, 01:13 PM Where at in N. Ky i was out near cold springs which is a little north of Lexington. I may have to see if i could stop by sometime. I go pretty close to ohio as well.
shepski 06-29-2008, 03:02 PM Ok, count me thoroughly impressed. About how much do you charge to crack open some Focus HIDs or Euro Facelift lights and paint 'em that luscious flat black I see in some of the pics?
josejsanchez 06-29-2008, 03:07 PM damn you do one hell of a good job with tint...
cbrenn71 06-29-2008, 04:06 PM I'm actually just across the river from cincy, but will be moving in 2 weeks to the columbus ohio area.
cost of painting a pair of headlights is around 120ish,
tinting the outter set is around 100
focisvt03 07-08-2008, 01:29 PM Ok, count me thoroughly impressed. About how much do you charge to crack open some Focus HIDs or Euro Facelift lights and paint 'em that luscious flat black I see in some of the pics?
Second that. And would your HID retrofit kit be able to upgrade the stock ford HID SVT lights? There not as bright as they used to be although it ma be the lens
cbrenn71 07-08-2008, 03:38 PM Second that. And would your HID retrofit kit be able to upgrade the stock ford HID SVT lights? There not as bright as they used to be although it ma be the lens
I think your question is referring to the HID conversion kits, not the retrofits. If you have a SVT that came with HIDs, you wont need a retrofit.
I would recommend either purchasing a new set of bulbs from us to replace your fading set, or purchase a 50 watt conversion kit that nearly greatly increases visibility.
Troyftw 07-09-2008, 10:13 PM Would it be possible to tint only the chrome part of the 2008 focus taillights and leave the red part the same? Something like this? (Pardon my rough photoshopping)

Yes it should. We shouldn't have any problems doing that.
Looks sharp!
Troyftw 07-10-2008, 08:40 AM Yes it should. We shouldn't have any problems doing that.

Awesome! About how much would that cost?
josejsanchez 07-10-2008, 11:03 AM that would look sweet man...
cbrenn71 07-10-2008, 01:49 PM cost is 105, regardless of if you get partial or full tint, plus return shipping.
Troyftw 07-10-2008, 05:02 PM Is it possible to do a core shipment thing? I cant be without my taillights for the duration...
cbrenn71 07-11-2008, 06:22 AM of course.
pm me and we can discuss.

Looks awesome man. This is one of the HID conversion kits cbrenn71 is selling? How do they perform in the stock halogen housings? Are they blinding in any way?
Derek Zoolander 07-14-2008, 10:14 AM Looks awesome man. This is one of the HID conversion kits cbrenn71 is selling? How do they perform in the stock halogen housings? Are they blinding in any way?
Yes it is!!
NO!!!! I have had them for almost 3 weeks now and have NEVER been flashed, not even ONCE!!!
I dont know if it is because I have the Lamin-x or what, but they are not blinding...
my one disappointment was that the kit wasnt plug and play, although i am pretty sure its cause I have an 08 focus. The stock headlight sockets would NOT fit into the ones from the kit, but no worries a voltmeter and some solder fixed that right away...
The other thing, is when not put into a projector while the light output is GOOD, it is not great... Meaning the light is dispersed in a wide angle instead of focused on the road. Better light output is to be had with the addition of projectors... I am just gathering the funds and supplies to do a retrofit on my own...
Tiger-Heli 07-15-2008, 08:58 AM Would it be possible to tint only the chrome part of the 2008 focus taillights and leave the red part the same? Something like this? (Pardon my rough photoshopping)

Derek Zoolander 08-09-2008, 09:23 PM that looks real good... what tint was it done with... charcoal laminx??
cbrenn71 08-09-2008, 10:57 PM no no no. that is our liquid coating system you see, followed up by several coats of clear, wetsanded, and buffed out.
i think troyftw will back me up when i say they are as smooth as glass.
Troyftw 08-10-2008, 03:12 AM no no no. that is our liquid coating system you see, followed up by several coats of clear, wetsanded, and buffed out.

Yeah, I will definitely agree with that.
Derek Zoolander 08-10-2008, 07:51 PM i would love this... i just cant justify the price for just the outline... 100 is pretty steep...
too bad cause i love the look...
I would use laminx, but the rim it has wouldnt look good... oh well
FocusVet 08-10-2008, 07:57 PM nice pics [thumb]
Troyftw 08-10-2008, 08:59 PM Yeah it is definitely worth the money though... The tint is seamless. It doesn't look like it is even tinted. It looks completely natural and untouched
Derek Zoolander 08-11-2008, 07:18 AM yeah... i mean i just cant justify it now in my current financial standing lol
topher352 08-15-2008, 10:28 AM no no no. that is our liquid coating system you see, followed up by several coats of clear, wetsanded, and buffed out.
i think troyftw will back me up when i say they are as smooth as glass.
When you do a partial like that, do you clear over the entire surface? Or just over the tinted area?
cbrenn71 08-15-2008, 10:44 AM just the tinted area
blkfocuszx3 08-15-2008, 07:01 PM I'm sorry if i missed it but i didn't want to look through the six pages but whats the cost to tint the tails on an 03 SVT, just pm me back when you can and that would be great thanks!
Derek Zoolander 08-17-2008, 08:04 PM i think its like 100 or something
gratefullife 09-07-2008, 11:22 AM hey chad, saw someone mention a halo kit on the svt hid's... Have you done this yet and if so, do you have a picture of it?
cbrenn71 09-07-2008, 01:37 PM we do not have pictures, but yes, we can do them, and we have.
cost is right around 200 for the kit, and that carries a lifetime warranty against parts.
focus479hp 10-25-2008, 08:03 PM What can U do to the 09 Focus
cbrenn71 10-25-2008, 08:34 PM For the 09 Focus, we can do the following:
Tinted/Color matched tail lights
Color matched headlights
HID conversion kit
HID Projector Retrofit
Tinted Headlights
Tinted Foglights
LED upgrade interior and exterior bulbs
Clear paint protection
Custom interior painting
Exterior trim color matching
If you are interested in something not listed above, let us know, we may be able to do it for you as well.
Templar 11-25-2008, 02:20 PM Exterior trim color matching
I have a 2003 zx3, with the rough textured side trim. What can you do for that and what is the price.
cbrenn71 11-25-2008, 03:52 PM we would prep the side mouldings and shoot them in your choice of color. we would do the color matching for 175 plus return shipping.
Shaddow_wolf169 01-22-2009, 02:35 PM i would really like to see a couple of 05 ford focus retrofitted headlights please
cbrenn71 01-22-2009, 06:26 PM not sure i have any pictures readily available. they would be a bi-xenon projector however. i would recommend an infiniti g-35 with the clear lens mod for enhanced cut off line.
boarder 02-11-2009, 02:50 AM Do you do custom halo's for the SVT headlights? I know you have the hid kit but halos?
Or could you install a turn signal in the housing somehow? haha sorry im bad with lighting
grahama 03-04-2009, 01:07 AM No pics yet, but got the HIDs installed yesterday after a struggle and brain-fart over the connections. The kit was definitely PnP and really easy
All I can say is O-M-G! Darkness never looked so good :)
Will post up some pictures after I get the passenger side lense cleaned up a bit.
cbrenn71 03-04-2009, 05:36 AM yes, we can get halo's for the SVT headlights. Are you reffering to the stnadard halogens or Mach HIDs?
drunkinmonkey 03-04-2009, 08:54 PM nice work dude fantastic job
Silverjacket 03-05-2009, 01:03 AM recently did a tint myself might as well get my wide ass up there [hihi]
