this might seem like a dumb question, but i heard that an svt is just a zetec with a different head on it. is this true.

also, can you just bolt a svt head on a zetec, will it show any improvement???

svt block has oil squirters, and forged pistons/rods. That's the main difference along with the head/intake manifold/header, and raised compression (10.2). The head has variable cam timing, and the intake has dual stage runners.

lol not the VCT thats just emissions, and a pain cause that means no cams or adjustable cam gear unless you want to take that off and thats a pain
