Ok so I have the 1/4 mile itch, so I am going to go out the Speedworld tonight and see what my new set is going to do. I am going to bring my Drag Radials, if anyone wants to try them out on their car come on out and lets have some fun.
BTW the weather is supposed to clear up and be dry and cool tonight should be perfect for some quick times.
Gates open at 7pm. I will be there at 6:30 so I can get a good pit stall.

It went really good. Had a great time getting my 1/4mile fix in. I got 10 runs in, kind of slow night out there. Saw a guy on a crotch rocket go down at the starting line(actually the 60 lights). He messed up the launch as bad as you can. Bike went side ways and then high sided. He went down on his face, nocked the wind out of him and it took him a while to get up. He did walk a way from it but looked very sore, he will be feeling it for a couple of days for sure.
Not too crowed at all. I had plenty of time to let the car cool off between runs. Met a bunch of cool 4 cylinder car guys. It still amazes me how many people are truly surprised that the focus can be so quick. I must have had 20-30 guys come up to me and ask about the car, it was pretty funny.
So on to the times.

That was the best of the night, all of the rest were 13.7xx. had a couple 13.9's and 13.8's, but mostly 13.7's. pretty much a bracket racing car. Witch is good to know, it means the car is working good and the tune is doing the right thing. Consistency is good. And that is what I went to find out.

No there was another focus there but he is not on the forums. I got him interested in getting on line. He has a basically stock ZX3 and he got there pretty late. I think he was running in the 16's?
