Congrats on the win. I think Focus Sport just helped us prove to the automotive world that the Focus is a force to be recind with. Maybe more companies will start jumping at making mods for the car seeing the success of the win.

so afocus stomped on the evo they had there? friggin sweet,lol.

^^ i wouldnt say it stomped it, but it did have a 301% HP gain where as the evo wasnt as high and the time attack it did good and it won interior i know...

the car was damn hot though... im glad the evo didnt win, the comment about it "just being a ford" made me giggle when the evo lost... sucker

We appretiate all of your support & we're ecstatic about the win for both ourselves & the Focus comunity. It was really a lot of work especially with such a new car which wasn't available during the filming process. We really learned a lot about building a car in a way to make everyone proud.

The competition was difficult between Skunk2 & us. We both had lots of great modifications on our cars in many different ways. As for Fireballed, I only wish they had a better running car so we could have had more fun on the track segment. We had a lot of fun building the car under the cameras even though at times it was very frustrating. I'm glad you all like what we created.

As far as Skunk2...how much actual work did the "team" do??
Seems to me, for pretty much every installation and modification, they had someone else do it.
In fact, about the only "hands on" I saw, was when (whoever the "weird beard" dude is) removed the front lower control arm.
Oh...He also re-installed the rear seat after the audio folks were done with it. [rolleyes]

Trust me...all you FS folks were the class of the field! [;)]

I watched the entire Street Tuner Challenge, and I noticed when you put the Brembos on the front you left the stock drums on the back. Today I was looking at photos of the winning Focus on Flicker, and the back brakes are disc brakes? Did I miss something or was this done off camara?

^^^ We didn't have the rear disc brakes available when we were installing the Brembo setup in front. So yes the rear was done off camera.

I believe he played a big rule in the whole import drag racing scene when it first took off.

Well...he sure as heck looked like a dork on the show.
Especially to talk it all up, and then farm the majority of the work out.
