: Heys Guys I Need A 710!! Whats A 710?
focusguy87 01-30-2008, 10:04 AM A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage.
A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. We all looked at
each other and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?"
She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I
have lost it and need a new one.." She replied that she did not know
exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there. The mechanic
gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece
looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He
then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked "is
there a 7 10 on this car?" She pointed and said, "Of course, its right
there."

JAMUS 01-30-2008, 10:42 AM I read this in class. I laugh a little too loud. Damn lecture hall. lol
karguy427 01-30-2008, 10:46 AM I'm sure there are lot of TRUE "dumb[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]" car stories we can come up with.
Like my daughter's friends, who all think they're expert mechanics. She gets a flat, so in the process of removing the wheel, they break off 2 of the 5 studs. They put the wheel cover back on, and when I took it to the tire shop a couple of days later to get the studs replaced and the tire fixed, I find out the geniuses had also installed 2 of the remaining lug nuts ---- backwards.
They also 'helped' her replace her battery yesterday. She comes in and shows me one of the hold-down nuts "They couldn't figure out where this went. The long post/ bolt was laying behind the battery. Oh, and the battery connections were only finger-tight. With "experts" like this, I'll probably have to buy her a new car instead of her '91 Camry.
Spinal 01-30-2008, 09:26 PM that made me lol.

viney266 01-31-2008, 09:06 AM Old trick from the car world, but still funny. The other one? Call up a buddies shop and ask for some A 1 R... " A One RRR"..The young guys will start looking, Then tell them it goes somewhere on your wheel. Most will get it, some will still keep looking.

Mr.Bergner 01-31-2008, 09:37 AM I broke my 710 one time and had to ride my bike to get a new one. All before work. It sucked. I actually had to get two 710's cause the first 710 didn't fit....lol
