want to put 15 spoke with 205/45/17 will they rub? Stock ride hight for now trying to keep weight about the same as stock 15 steel wheels. 39# steel vs 40# eap with ast tire. The reason is the car gets 35mpg on the freeway and i just hate the look of my hubbies. Do you guys think keeping the stock ride hight is going to look like $hit and iam a little older then you guys 52. Any ideas out there. thanks i have a 06 mustang vert thats my main car and a 00&07 zx3s both silver.

it will work fine and have no issues

Yes they will fit. Personally I would go with either a 215/45 or a 225/45 tire on there though.

A lot depends on the offset of the wheels you select as to whether there will be clearance issues or not. With stock ride height you shouldn't have to many. To be on the safe side go with an offset of 45 to 49mm. This will allow you to lower the car (if you desire) without creating problems later on. Hopefully you understand that lower profile tires do ride harder due to the shorter stiffer sidewall. Whether to go with 205 or 215 will depend on the wheel width you select.

...and yes, it will look like an off-road Focus with no drop and those wheels.
205/45 isn't much sidewall, 215/45 would probably better.
