Yea, we've seen a post for this a hundred times, but mine has jammed consistantly since I've owned the car, and I've delt with it by removing the lockpins on the side of the deck and leaving the torx screws off the back so I can just slide the deck out and pop the tin lid to get everything back on track...

Well I finally broke one of the disc loader trays. I tried repairing it with gorilla glue but it doesn't retract correctly with the laser and loader, so its finally DEAD.

I almost feel like Ford should recall this terrible 6-disc changer, because all of us SVT owners are stuck with it if we want to retain our sub amp and steering controls. There are no other solutions that don't need heavy modification to wiring and/or dash, and a lot of money, for our vehicles.

I'm hoping to find a replacement 9006 for <$100. I was talking with someone on another forum and we agreed on $40 (what a deal!) but then said he had a friend that wanted it. He probably sold it for a lot more elsewhere :\

Anyone got one? I'll give you my broken one if you want it (free) but obviously it only works as a radio. The CD loader is trashed.

It works with the factory amp and steering wheel controls on an 02 SVT?

I've got one sitting around. I got it free with the purchase of my Audiophile sub enclousure - I'll let it go for $35 + shipping. Only problem - the guy said something about CDs getting stuck. I can't use it because I have an '07.
