Can anyone tell me about this warranty? If I buy a used 2003 Focus SVT that has this warranty, does it mean that practically everything, including the problematic clutch in particular, would be covered if anything went wrong with it?

The clutch it self would not be covered, but if another internal part caused the clutch to wear it may be covered. Do you have the vin? Have some one run it or pm me with it and i will run it for you and get the History on the vehicle.

I have a month of Carfax access so I am already aboe to see the report. But it wouldn't show a clutch change would it? I would think since there's a TSB and Ford know the SVT clutches from factory were basically defective, then they would be willing to replace under warranty. This is not the case though?

As far as 04-12-02 the faulty part number 7563 is not a covered item under the powertraincare, it is only eligileable under the new vehicle warranty. Like I said if you have the vin number have Ford run it to see if by any chance that maybe someone bought another ESP warranty.
