That sounds like an average price to me. It is a 4 year old car, and it still is about 20g's.

Thats a good price for that mileage. Depends on the market in his area, the dealership probably wont give him anywhere near close to 20g out the door, and so hes gotta sell it somehow.

^^^ STI's are insured as factory race cars. its not like a regular car. better off just finding a regular wrx and making it that fast.

If i had the money id take it in a heartbeat tho.

Unless you know what you are doing with cars and can fix engines, I'd stay away. Your first choice was better. That price was pretty average. I'd consider it WAY over this last "mechanics dream".

The slaping cylinder sounds are Probably the ticking sound the engine makes on the car..

i used to own that red svt, i got it from them, i own it for a year ( thats how i end up in this, place FF), i told the guy since we go it that the 4th wasnt working correctly, they never try anything to fix it, the cars has a lot of problems, i got sick of asking them to fix it under the warranty that they offer ME!!, i never took it to them for service, or anything else, i just made my monthly payments, looks like the car its on the same condition, i cant say that i didnt enjoy it, it was always fun to drive, and the looks, it awesome, i try to find out what was wrong with it, i check the DSC clip, clean the maf, all the things that i could do by myself( i got the info here FF again )... to make the story short i just got sick of it, and give it back to them, they even try to blame all the bad things on me, but after we drove it and i point out all the new stuff on it, they didnt bitch about it... i never bang the gear or anything, because i was afraid of doing something bad to the car(that scare i was)... now im really happy, i have my baby, nothing wrong with it, he has the EAP, and all the nice things, ooh by the way, my focus its a "HE", and all this happend (getting the new focus) because of you guys, and this site, i got a loan, so i just went to the dealership where they were selling my focus and paid in full for it... i will never regreat this, EVER... I was just asking your opinion on the red SVT because i just run in to the ad at craigslist and i was in shock, ooh, and that year that i own that car i just put 5500 mile on it, when i got it had 44735 miles or something like that, it was my first svt, i didnt knew about recalls, or stuff like that...

if you check my gallery you gonna find pics of it, i own 2 svtf for 2 days ...
