I daily drive a 98 Neon, and i wanted to upgrade to a newer vehicle, so i test drove a zx5 focus the other day...wow, talk about fun to drive and good power. So I am looking for a focus in or around the Michigan area. I found one in Muskegon but I am unsure about it, would anybody on here run a carfax for me?

or does anybody know of any good ones in the Michigan area right now, i'd really like an SVT, but a manual trans zx3 or zx5 would be good too. Either way, i'm getting a focus, they just have great power and handling as well as great mileage...although nothing could touch my neon for mileage...[headbang]

what are you looking for, sedan, hatch, wagon, svt, duatec, zetec, spi? A manual zetec hatch would probably be the cheapest with great aftermarket. A SVT is rather hard to find but you wouldn't have to mod it much to feel good about that car. You could get a duratec but now your starting to look at a newer class of cars. The duratec is available in 2.0 & 2.3. The zetec and svt can be changed to 2.3 but is pretty expensive. For the price look for a 2000-2003 zetec hatch.

Not sure what price range your looking to be, but the best bang for the buck would be any 03-04 Focus with the 2.3 duratec engine which pumps out 145 horsepower. They are hard to find but a little Patience you might get lucky. BTW I think both the 2.3 and 2.0 retails for about the same.
