Ok im going to buy an infiniti G35 and i cant decide... im leaning towards black but white looks very classy...

I don't know... the white looks a little girly and the black one will be hard to keep clean. I really like the blue paint they use on these... Silver is cool, but everyone's got silver now.

Ugh, I can't decide. It looks good in both colors but I'm leaning more towards the white.

white,easier to keep clean and looks better IMO, just get the 06 wheels and it will set the look of the car

I would go stick, but it really is a matter of preference.

your gonna want a stick i used to be a valet and ive driven countless g35 and 350Z...to have any fun you have to get a stick a auto with that much power is no fun but with that much power and a stick to lay it out where you want is priceless and oh yeah....black on black you wont regret it...modding a car with tan interior is a big no no for me

Go for the white one. It will be much easier to keep clean, and looks amazing when modded.

Black is a bitch to keep clean, it looks dusty/dirty only hours after washing it. Depends on how much of a perfectionist you are, I used to have a black car and it drove me crazy trying to keep it clean.

Also, it will be a little bit harder to find a G35 with the manual, the automatic seems to be more popular, but I would go manual with this car... a lot more fun.

most people are voting white, but im gonna be one of the opposition...i think black is the sex....even if it is obnoxious to keep clean, i think it would be worth it...especially if u plan on doing any shows or anything, black looks nice....

also consider: black = HOT in the summer but somewhat useful and warm in the winter...

white = warm in the summer but COLD in the winter..

...just another thing to add to ur confusion

I also got a new focus instead of anything else for the fact of a cheap dependable car and still fun to drive. I will get a nicer car when I can financially afford it, I really have my eyes set on a GT stang or a WRX STi, my wife wants a R32 Golf all this has to come with time.

What I'm saying is before you get your hopes up plan out your funds for down payment/monthly payments, and a higher insurance cost for a 18yr old male to drive a infinite. Make sure you can afford this car before setting your self up for a disappointment.

I currently have $4280 dollars towards the car and i will be buying one in June. By june i should have at least $10,000 dollars cash. That ontop of the (at least) $10,000 from the focus gives me $20,000 down payment. I will be getting a used 2006 G35 with about 20-30 thousand miles, they are going for 25-28 thousand in my area(only with under 20K miles), so that means i will have a 8-10 thousand dollar loan. Take the loan out for 72 months and have a MINIMUM payment of $160 a month (i make $250 on average a week) so ill get it financed so i can pay more then the minimum without any fees. That means that i can pay it off within 2 years or less.

Im planning on keeping my 2nd job throughout school so i can have it this summer so i can work my ass off and pay it off quickly.


Its all very reasonable.

Don't forget about insurance. I agree with focusin...just wait until you have good, stable income before making a purchase like this. BELIEVE ME...things happen and plans change.

I got an insurance quoteand its 30 dollars more a year for full coverage on the g35 than for the focus.


I also have 10 grand in the bank as a safety net incase something happens. So when I buy the car I'll still have ten grand in the bank and still have a steady income.

Well im 18 and im working at a supermarket (Publix) making $9.25 an hour...been with the company for 4 years now... management wants me to continue moving up the "ladder" but i wont because of school

and kohls department stores making $7.00 an hour for extra money, they love me and let me come and go as i please.... i can go in and work for an hour when im not scheduled if i have free time... its pretty awesome.


at publix i make on average $250 a week and kohls i make between $50 and $200.... all depends on how much free time i have

and youve just saved a lot? those are two decent sounding stable jobs...but having enough money to buy a G35 AND have 10 grand in ur bank account...im impressed...props to you man, props to you...

haha yeah i save up as much as possible... and i try to live on a tight budget, only buy what i really need. Honestly... i spend less then $60 a week.... usually its $30 in gas and $20 or so in tolls for school... thats about it... living at home has its advantages!

Im trying my hardest to save up at LEAST $250 a week so i can put away 1 grand a month, that way i can have the car by june.


Also i have unexpected money coming in... I have bright futures (75% scholarship for going to school) and a Florida Pre-Paid College fund... so with both of them i actually get $900 dollars or so back a semester for school, so that pays for my books and stuff... i keep the excess for myself seeing as im paying for gas and tolls... and publix has a tuition reimbursement plan so ill get another 400-500 at the end of every semister... so it kinda pays to go to school, and helps me save some cash.

Noooooo you've failed me!

Now at least you have to do something semi-wild with it, like bronze rims. If you went with white you get the bonus of keeping it looking understated, which has a nice side-effect of costing little money.

Haha! I think no matter what color he gets its gonna be tight! I hope I get one someday! Or an M3 would be good too! I am in love with BMW's! Black is just too much to take care of for me!

Bone stock mine ran 14.3...after the Tein order, traction system upgrade with coil overs and controller. Mid/hi 13's.
