I'm taking my car ('03 ZX3 with zetec) in for 30,000 service, and I have the option of having an engine flush and fuel system flush done when it's there. I bought the car used with about 24,000 miles on it so I'm not sure about the oil change records before I owned it, but I have had it change regularly with the stock motor craft stuff since I've owned it. I know doing an engine flush can create clogs and reveal leaks, but would I have to worry about that with my car which has about 31,000 miles on it? I don't know about the potential problems with having the fuel system flushed.

I wouldn't worry about it at that mileage, I haven't had either done and my car has 117,000

you don't need any of that at 30,000 miles. your car is new, man. what you can do is run a fuel system cleaner through the gas tank.
at 30k, you should
-replace spark plugs
-flush cooling system/radiator (you can do that at home with a garden hose)
-replace automatic trans fluid and filter (if you have an ATX)
that's about it and you're set.

65,000 miles, that would make since. Not of your one of those guy that babys your vehicles (I could speak for every member on this site) then it wouldn't harm a fly.
Maybe it would be the best thing to spend on.
