56k - Haven't you learned by now?!!

So we finally are starting to see the snow we should be getting and I decided to take a drive up to Breckenridge to get snowboarding in. I had just bought a set of 16's w/winter tires on them this past sept and was really itching to give them a try.

They had 9+" the night before and about 6-9" more in the 5hours I was there. The roads were so/so....a few egg heads ended up off the roads due to deceivingly icy roads. The "bare spots" you see are actually iced up.

One guy managed to roll his SUV off of the straightest section of road in a 200 mile radius, lol. Traffic was bunching up at the scene so I didnt get a pic (damnit)

I was pretty damn happy with how the tires felt on the snow and ice...being that this is my first set of dedicated snow tires and also my first winter with the JRSC on. The supercharger is totally manageable in this weather, in case anyone was wondering...just takes an easy foot, although romping on it and peeling out is fun from time to time :)

Here she is with the 16's and snow tires...awaiting my return from the hill.

and on my way home, I have to drive through South Park. Thought you might like to see what the town is like, lol....

Here's the sign entering the town. Its just a tiny lil area in the south end of Park county...hence the name.

This is the "Old Town" South Park. Its off limits, but looks exactly like the newer stuff:

Really thats all there is worth taking a pic of, other than a general store and some scattered houses. There isnt even a traffic light in this town and if you blink, you will drive right past and not even notice you went through. Now you know.
