Well most of you missed it, but Phil and I tore it up through the east bay hills. Starting in Martinez we took Alhambra Valley Rd to Bear Creek Rd, across San Pablo Dam Rd into Tilden Park, up to Grizzley Peak, then Skyline Blvd to Redwood Rd into Castro Valley... down 580 for one exit to Palomeres Rd into Fremont, then down to Milpitas to hit Calaveras Rd back up to Pleasanton... i need new tires now.
Thanks for the ride Phil! We'll hit up the go kart track next time!

Nice pics, looks like it was a nice day for a drive. [thumb] That's one thing about California, it's almost December and yet it's sunny and the skies are so clear you can see across the bay to S.F.!

good pics, i wish i was going faster though,
now i really need to get new tires, but it was fun and it was worth it. It was a really good run with lot of curves and good roads. it was even a great day not to hot, not to cold.
next time we need to hit up that karting.

well... we can't go too fast on the public roads, I know I push the limits a little though. Time to find some new roads. Route 84 on the peninsula is a good ride, but it's only about 20 miles long. Then you can take route 1 up the coast into SF and then into Marin. that might be a fun ride... but there's a lot of traffic on the weekend.

yeah man, we'll put another one together. too bad the best time to hit these roads is during the week... there was quite a bit of traffic out there, and bicycles.
No one was killed or injured in making the photographs.

I live in Milpitas and know Calaveras well, its a fun road, but the cops know people go up there so you gotta be careful.

I've only seen cops out there when a truck gets stuck and they have to get towed out... I see deer up there every time I go, and tarantulas as big as your hand! Those spiders are a trip... they run right across the road and you can see them from 30 yards off.
