That's really badass. Doubt it'll ever make it to production without serious changes to the design.

Also, those gauges are deadly, they're so beautiful you're not going to be looking where you're going for very long.

I like a lot of whats going on with that, but from some angles it looks REALLY bloated.. Im sure those wheels are massive, shame that theyre needed to make the rest of the car look right! Could be much more sexy

I think that is how people generally regard Buick. That's probably what they are trying to change with this concept. It looks clean to me. The interior looks cool, like something from the Jetsons. I dont understand that gauge, though.

I love concept cars. I just wish they focused on putting cars out there that will probably be going into production.

its not a car thats gonna come to production, its a styling exercise, visual cues from the concept will be found on future Buicks and its a good look into the direction Buick is headed starting with the new Enclave, which is sick btw...Buick's on its way back in the same way Cadillac was a few years ago starting with the Evoq concept which then created the CTS et al...

I think I like it. WAy back in the day. Late 60's and early 70's there were a few ( they were not common ) seriously B/A buicks around. They were known as riviera then, too. Big blocks with twin 4 bl. carbs and some pretty mean set-ups. Its rare you even see one at a car show today.

You phrased the point I was trying to make a lot better than I did. Buick is trying to lose the perception that people have about Buicks as being boring cars for retirees. This is the same image that Cadillac had before they redesigned their badge and started producing futuristic-looking, angular cars. The result with Cadillac was a resurgence of the brand's popularity.
If Buick can apply design cues from this concept vehicle to new, better models, It's possible that they could lose that "granny car" stygma just as Cadillac did.

You calling me old because I drive a Buick Century?

I drove a 94 Buick Century. Don't hate, people. However, I did get quite the upgrade IMO. Now I have a CD player. Go Focus.

Anyway... I respected Buick when they used to make fast cars. Wait, actually, I wasn't alive then. [scratch]
Since the GNX, they have meant nothing to me.
