I just recently purchased a 2002 focus 4 door and I cant see to find any parts for my engine its an spi i believe I dont think its a zetec its 2.0L though im i just looking in the wrong place for parts or do they make them for that engine , what would be a good way to tell the difference[headbang]

I've read a lot of threads talking about how good the SPI engine can be and that it'll last you awhile when properly maintained.

I was an owner of a 02 SPI silver, and the only performance part I did with the car was Magnaflow exhaust, Drop in K&N, and an accel ignition coil; I only did these modification cuz I has 2 escorts perviously before owning my 02 Focus so I pretty know what I was doing with those powerplants.

It was fun, but I was never looking in to it for speed; more than to make my cars breathe naturally.

I agree, mostly what it was good for is universal upgrades(Not if you want to spend a wad of cash to get things custom made for it).
