Well i thought you guys might want to hear about my future car plans, but first things first, the removal of my mods and the foci's response to it.
As many of you know I am selling my mods and then plan to sell the focus, but lets get to the mods.
Well last night I started the removing of the mods with my intake, t/b, plug wires, and strut bar. after driving it with these mods taken off i felt a much less racey feel to the car due to the lost throttle response (throttle body) and a small loss in power. Steering and turning took a pretty good hit without the strut bar also.
Tonight, I removed my header and flex pipe. This was an enormous difference in sound and in performance. It felt like i was tied to a dump truck that i was towing. I suppose i was used to a little more speed than that.
Summary, best mods are Throttle Body and Race header for difference in the feel of the car.
OH WOW, would ya look at that, I have a Throttle Body for sale! what a coincidence.

Now for my future plans, well over the past few months (about 3 or 4) ive been jumping back and forth between getting a new focus (since all ive ever owned are used cars) or playing around with a project car. Well, my heart has found its desire, and for the past few weeks ive been planning this project of mine.
My project is going to be a Nissan Sentra SE-R 91-94 model, with the stock sr20de engine in it, and im dropping a sr20det Bluebird engine into it. The stock SE-R sentra does the quarter mile in mid to high 15's so its pretty quick as it is. The swap is pretty straightforward due to the engine having the same block and wiring harness so i shouldnt run into many snags. The DET is turbo'd with a top mount intercooler (may change it to front mount or ill just cut a hold in the hood and make a functional hood scoop) running at about 6psi pushing 205 hp. now if any of you know how well 205 hp is going to push a 2450 pound car then you should know the outcome, im expecting high 13's[}:)] . Most people that have done this swap get mid 13's but ill just expect high 13's due to so many variables.
I already have a seller lined up for the SE-R, and thats quite a feat because those cars are not only rare but in pretty good demand. People don't like selling them.
Well, thats what i plan on doing and i plan on having it finished by the end of summer. And ofcourse when i get it done, ill post pictures and such.
I will still be around though....
