Jesus - and here I thought the thread was about grabbing a tray from your northern college cafeteria, running outside, and sliding down a snowy hill on it....

If you want to spend a few bucks and have more fun. Buy some thick cutting boards from Wal-Mart. Me and my did it, used them on mine for awhile then on his SRT. They lasted like 4 days of sliding before wearing through. Pretty fun thing to do if you're board and have a large parking lot close.

Never tried it but did something similar the first time I tried to drive my Grandpa's 680 hp mustang in a parking lot. You know its a mans car when you floor it and can see the gas gage move.

Usually some people on these forums said that they have did it without trays, and usually have hankook's to burn them to nothing; while also in that process, the next day they had a scheduled appointment to buy real tires that he was babying them all the time.

On a new or recently sealed asphalt lot in the rain...slicker than deer guts on a doorknob. Trays last longer, too!

Id do this in the snow, or If I had a car I hated Id to it in a heartbeat. My friend did it in his 91 cav and it was hilaroius! I wouldnt beat on my Focus like that though.

It also is equally as fun (in my opinion) to stand on said trays, while holding on to the back of a vehicle (preferably a truck bed) and let the fun begin.

^^I can't imagine that would be entirely too safe but I'd bet it looks funny.
