FiiZh 05-09-2004, 11:09 PM I was curious if I could win this race, this guy thinks he would kill me, but I don't think he is very knowledgable, though I am kind of unsure about who would win. I have a 2003 ZX3 w/ the 2.3L PZEV engine and no performance mods and an ATX. He has a 2001 2.0L ZETECH w/ intake, exhaust, UDP, headers, flex pipe, and rims/spoiler/lip kit and an MTX. Another 7-11hp depending if it's a race header or a shorty. Another 3hp if he has a FC/AFX UDP. So there's roughly 15hp right there which matches the 2.3 pzev. Then go ahead and equate the mtx transmission which will generally loose about 5% less power through the tranny vs auto. He'd probably win as long as he knows how to drive a stick, and i'm sure he does if he has all of those mods already. He wouldn't kill you, but he'd win in a drag race. But hes gonna pull hard on you. Egz 05-10-2004, 06:38 AM I agree, while I haven't seen any timesor dynos for the ATX, expect low-mid 16s.
