Okay, so that's what I WANT this event to be. [:D]
November 4th will be the last auto-x of the year for the Northeast Oklahoma SCCA region and also the first one I will be able to participate in after my back surgery.
What I would like to do is get a decent amount of area Focus owners to show up for this event so we can all run against each other and have a G2G afterwards.
Date: Sunday, November 4th 2007
Time: Registration for the event ends at 9:30 am, so between 7:00am and 9:30am
Place: Tulsa Fairgrounds, Tulsa Oklahoma (on the corner of 15th and Yale)
Google Map of Site (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=15th+and+yale,+tulsa+ok&sll=36.137251,-95.923777&sspn=0.010571,0.018733&ie=UTF8&ll=36.137286,-95.924313&spn=0.010571,0.018733&t=h&z=16&iwloc=addr&om=1)
Price:
SCCA Members are - first class $18.00 - second class $14.00
Non-members are - first class $23.00 - second class $20.00
Students (with ID) are - first class $15.00 - second class $14.00

That's our course designer driving. He does a GREAT job designing a course around the islands.
The NEOKLA region is EXTREMELY laid back with a LOT of guys who love to have a great time. While we do have a National Champion in our group (Ann Vogel - EML 2007 SOLO Finals) plus many others who go to Nationals regularly, all of us are out there to have a great time and make sure everyone else does too.
Plus, there are some bitchin cars that the owners are willing to give rides all the time:

I know some of you in Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri have autocrossed before, but some haven't. If you want to show up to this event, I'll be glad to help you get into the swing of things if you have never done it before.
So, come on out, have some fun, and lets show these guys how us Focus owners can do it! Hell.....they already think I am nuts for supporting the Focus so much, why not show them I am not the only one. [:D]
