Yep, yesterday at Don Davis Ford in Arlington. A CD Silver 2004 ZX5 SVT with audiophile, moonroof, and HID's. There was 48 miles on the odemeter, build date was 2/2004, so I believe it was very close to being one of the last SVT's manufactured. They were absoutely unbelievable to work with, probably the best of any dealership I've ever been to. It was a complete fluke. I'm not going to rehash my story, since I've posted what's gone on for the past few months, but last week out of frustration/desparation, I went to Ford's website and did a dealer search based on my zip code. I tried to limit the search based only on dealerships that sold SVT products. The list was huge, 5 pages long, I think Texas has the most Ford dealerships of any state in the country. So, one by one I would click on the link to the dealership, and search their inventory for a 2004 ZX5 SVT. I finally decided that the SVT was going to be my best bet to get a ZX5 loaded the way I want it. There were very few left. Out of like 50 dealerships, there was only 6 that had an SVT ZX5. Three of those dealerships had 2004's that had 160 mile on the car or more. That is too many miles for a new car. One of the dealership's had a competition orange euro package ZX5, but they were not willing to negotiate much on price. It finally came down to two dealership, and I chose Don Davis because they were 40 miles closer to me than the other dealership and both dealerships had the exact same car (same options, same color). These guys treated me and my wife like gold. They gave my $18,000 for my trade in, no questions asked. The SVT also had a beautiful tint job they gave me at cost ($130). The car came to $17,800 before T/T/L, but I didn't have to pay any taxes because they gave me $18,000 for my car. Sweet! I had to roll $1,900 of negative equity into the deal from my Acura. My OTD price was $19,800.

All I can say is I'm very happy. The financing worked out great, $360 a month payments. The SVT is awesome! I'm still getting used to the throttle response and clutch takeup. The handling is better than anything I've ever driven, including my RSX. The car is so comfortable and quiet too. I'm just really happy. [thumb]
