My local track reopened, but the car started acting up after I pulled it off the trailer and got it ready. Sucked I didn't get to run. Went out to pull it off the trailer and it fire right up... Then I got the cops called on me by some douche bag. Saying I woke her up with it. I was like: "Woman, its 12:30. I work nights and I'm up this early, thats bad when your kids are up before you." Cops never shown up yet.

Bad, I got a screw in my tire today right as I was leaving work in a hurry to go to dinner.

Good I work at a tire place and was able to patch the tire.

Bad I scuffed the paint on my wheel dismounting it!

Cops showed up. They were chill about the situation, because I know the laws lol. No noise ordinance. And I explained to them I was like which would be better. Unloading it when I got home last night at 11:00pm or this evening. They were like yea, we understand. As long as your respectful we really can't do anything.

Turns out she called them telling them that I was up here revving it up, and I said yea, its got a stall so I do have to rev it up to move it.

had an experience last night with a similar female. my gf's grandmother's birthday, so we all went out to longhorns for dinner. that family is obsessed with the place, going there for nearly each one of their birthdays as thats about the only time they really go out for dinner.

so kim's brother's fiance, deziree (sp? whatever idc) decides its her night to be embarrassing. first, she has to specifically order a water with FOUR lemon slices. this had to be said 2-3 times, FOUR lemon slices. whatever. so our food comes out. well instantly she notices her baked potato only has LIKE 5 PIECES OF CHEESE ON IT. so she's got to point this out when asking for more, "um...this only has like 5 pieces of cheese, can i get some more?"

after sitting there for several minutes, she realizes that the 8 oz sirloin she ordered actually appears to be a 16 oz t-bone. yeah, took some time to figure it out. she's actually right on this one, she'd ordered a sirloin. waitress takes it back. manager comes out like 5 minutes later, says they'll give her the t-bone at the sirloin price. its brought back. she starts into it before turning all disgusted and insisting to the table that it's not medium-rare. that steak was no more than medium, it looked great. she's just a stupid, complaining bitch.

oh, this is all after she'd gone outside for 10 minutes to change the baby's diaper, because apparently no one else at the table that's nearly finished eating is qualified to do it while she catches up and eats. so the steak is horribly cooked wrong apparently. then the check comes out. upon taking her own look at it, she figures its wrong. "let me see it, I'M A WAITRESS." so she convinces everyone it's wrong and still has an extra t-bone listed. waitress comes out, explains it to her. it's listed as a t-bone still, yes, but the differences is deducted at the bottom. well this moron is still confused. waitress gets the manager.

the whole time dez is going on. about something. it was a frickin' embarrassment. stupid frickin' people that just try to find something to bitch about. that steak was cooked more medium-rare than my medium-rare sirloin. it looked great. and god forbid, she just knows everything about a check and restaurant because "i'm a waitress" stupid whore.

Yeah for real, I've been riding around with the dump open in my exhaust for about a week now. No complaints. We've had giant parties with cars lined down both sides of the road, drunk people All out in The front yard, and still no cops called.

DeSoto parade was last night. Absolutely ridiculous. They close down the main 4+lane road in bradenton (which happens to be in front of my house) and fill it with ppl getting wasted. 160+ floats, most of which were pirate ships and stuff throwing beads. Amazing drunk night- beads, beers, and boobs.

yeah, well i bit my tongue pretty well most of the time at the restaurant, as it was kim's family i was there with, but even they quickly grew tired of her mess. she's quickly wearing out her welcome, though since she's the baby's mother...yeah...she's gotten away with it so far.

Only been at work for 2 months now and I'm already to tell them all to shove it.

For two months I have been working till 7pm and every Saturday, then they claim the "low man on the totem poll" bullshit. I was talking to the one other "GMT" there who I am supposed to be able to swap shifts (2 weeks openings/2 weeks closing) and alternating Saturdays. Just got my ST170s in and got my exhaust resonator installed. Car doesnt pop as much :( but it is now bearable.

car wasnt running right though, she was busting up bad in 3 &4th. Jeremy has videos i'm sure you can hear it in them. managed a best of 12.8 at 111.

I'm almost tempted to throw a set of slicks on it. That rear end is suppose to hold up really well but, idk about those circumstances haha. Which it wouldn't be bad if it were a solid axle. I'm running a 4.10 and LSD. It would hook like no other, but it wouldn't last long.

I think if I keep this car, and I intend to. It will become a money pit over the years. haha.

Okay My car is getting way spoiled. I just installed a Resonator to my exhaust and it sounds much better not being the loudest car on the road. My ST170 headlights came in and Im piecing them together. I just bought new Team Dynamics wheels (uber expensive), Putting in Royal Purple gear oil in today. Buying new tires for Autox and Street, And just bought 2 corbeau seat harnesses for me and my girl for Autox. This car will not be getting anything else for a VERY long time.

well not to mention also that's a first gen... but yes there is a huge difference in look between a base neon and srt. I dont think there is as much of an aggressive difference between the base and svt focus.

and yes that is SDR, i only live about 30 min from it.

Believe it or not a SVT stands out so much more than even a modded regular ZX3 like mine, the way the front bumper molds with the rest of the car makes more of a statement.

Got actually drive the car today. Pulls strong all the way up to 5500, where I want it to cut off. Got it titled and tagged. And it will be insured tomorrow. Gotta bleed the back brakes, and fix some kind of line i've never noticed before that's causing gas to leak. Then its time to smoke people at the track while smoking ciggs on the street. ;)

Question for the suspension guys. My rx7 has a power steering rack, but the people disconnected and clamped the inlet and outlets hoses shut. The problem is it, steers horrible. Driving down the road, the steering wheel is just so light to the touch. Idk if its that and I need to swap to a manual steering rack, or if its just the added weight. What would fix it?

And I think I figured out what's up with the car. It looks to be somewhere in the range of 3-8 negative degree of camber. Basically its riding on the edge of the wheel. So I figure ill get the best I can for now so that I can drive it. And take it to the shop sometime soon.

I got my ST170s in from england and I got a VW plug and some other stuff to make them plug and play and when to put them together and realized I only bought enough stuff to do one plug. I didnt even think about it when buying them. Oh well. I will have to wait because Im running out of funding. I may sale these for 500 and keep my current headlights. My current lights have AMAZING output.

Just hold off until you can buy the other plug setup, the ST170's would look great on your car.

I was looking at toyota Tacoma's (still am TBH) for a while, I like them but I think I'd rather just wait another year or two and buy a used 09-10 F150 with a 5.4.

In other news. Picked up my F22A1 Honda motor yesterday. Think I'm just gonna fix it and sell it. Getting ready to go full swing into contracting for myself and the mines. And I also started draining the fluid and disconnecting everything on the tranny. It's gonna be a beast to pull with the motor still in the car, but its the easiest way.

And Jon and Ken, and whoever else could see this as a good idea. We need a build forum. I know we have engine swaps and what not, but I think it would help attract some non-foci people to the site. All the current builds are just scattered. 03OrangeSVT had his bug in gen chat I think. Awesome builds going on in FI chat. Crap I post up and make yall sit through lol. The new V6 mustang is friggin awesome. It turns better than a Miata, gets better gas mileage than her SVT, and twice the power. I'm with jonny and the guys when it comes to the new mustang. But any other, other than the high end ones is failsauce. Sync too. Ja.

Bottom line is when the companys main base is overseas thats where the big money goes.I might be wrong but thats how i see it.Only other real way to help out is if we do equal trade you buy from us as much as we buy from you. $121.48 will be the cost of each room. This figure is what you will pay out the door. This price includes tax. Im sure you can find a hotel cheaper than this. I dont care if you can. Thus i dont want to see any posts regarding the price of this hotel or any posts that include prices from other hotels.

Woot for me. Got the transmission pulled from the car yesterday in an hour. Got it on the work bench. Took it apart today and as suspected 3rd/rev clutch pack was burnt up. Everything else in great shape. Going to take the case to the machine shop monday to have it hot tanked, and order my trans kit sometime next week. Should have a transmission that can stand more than 600hp/tq even tho I wont need it ,but you never know on the bottle. Plus it will be manual/automatic so its gonna be a great bracket car. Maybe this time I wont loose to someone by .0004 GRR Jeremy lol.

Correct the 121.48 is the rate, read the prior sentence. Not sure how you are paying $128 something for the entire weekend, something doesn't seem right there.

I'll call them tomorrow and double check. I may be wrong.

Ok, to set things about Carlisle straight, finally. I called them a second ago to check on my room. It's $111.96 plus tax (which comes to the $121.48 w/tax) PER NIGHT which came to a grand total of $244.08 out the door, tax and all. Sorry for the confusion, i could have sworn the lady i talked to said $128 for the weekend but i guess she meant per night.
