i had the ford remote start installed when i purchased my car less then a year aog, does anyone know how long or if there is a warranty on the remote start, mines is acting up, and i dont want to sehll outy xtra$$$ if i dont have to

i'd say go to them and tell them what it is doing. If they care about their customer then they will fix it for minimal charge/ no charge

if they installed it, there should be a warranty on it, almost as long as ur regular warranty

sometimes when u try to remote it, the lights will gon on but the engine will not turn ver other times when it does turn over u can hear a scraping noise

sound like a wire is loose somewhere. they should fix it for you
