The SVTF will be gone on Friday. I actually never thought I'd be making a thread like this, as I honestly thought I'd be keeping it forever. I'm actually really depressed just thinking about it, but I feel it's time to move on to a new car. I've had 2 different Foci over the course of 5 years now, the SVT for 3 of those years, so it's gonna be really weird not having one anymore. It's getting parted out over the next 2 days, and traded in for the new whip on Friday.

You're all gonna ask what I'm getting, and all I wanna say is it's a car I've wanted since I was 17 (now I'm 23, so that's 6 years) and I'll post pictures of it in the Showroom on Friday. It's nothing amazing, I just like keeping secrets, haha.

I'm still gonna be on the forums all the time and going to meets, and ofcourse posting pictures of the new car as I modify it. Maybe one day I'll be able to own another Focus (a full race, track ready beast hopefully) and till then I'll still be hanging around.

I hope you do stick around. You are one of the 'old schoolers' and it would be sad to see you leave us[:(] Hope you enjoy your new ride!

Sadly, I've been having thoughts of selling my SVT too. I don't think it will happen for a while, but I would LOVE a V8. Waiting for a new job first, then I'll see how things go.

Your car will live on in my car lol, well at least about half your parts. I know you will enjoy the new whip.

I know what it is cuz he told me but we'll let the anticipation build. It's mean though, and will chew up my SVT and spit it out.

Haha, well it's definetly quicker than my SVT, no question, but it's not amazingly fast. Wish I could've afforded the amazingly fast one, but I like this body style better anyway.

I actually dont pick it up till tomorrow morning now. And I definetly had to go for the wagon, thanks to the Focus for turning me onto the hatch body style.

And the SVT is almost completely back to stock. The exhaust is completely gone, now onto Charlie's car. The short shifter is gone, wires and distributor gone, VF rear mount gone. Now I'm going out to take off the throttle body, strut bars, and put the tune back to stock and take off the EAP's and put the stock wheels with crap tires back on for the dealer to deal with. It's really depressing to drive it now, I'm suprised those first few mods made such a big difference. It's gonna be depressing dropping it off tomorrow, it's been such a good car.

Haha, nope, but my girlfriend might be getting one (to replace her Cobalt LS).

I got the car today...and oh man I love it. I was really depressed driving away from the dealership though, leaving the Focus behind. It was kinda like the same feeling to me as bringing an animal to the vet to be put down (I know it's depressing, but it's true). Then I decided to try to cheer myself up and listen to the turbo spool for the first time, it helped a bit. Now I need to start modding it though.
