Is it under warranty by ford?

Was going through a turn, leaned on it a little, and snap!

The SOB broke.

The thing that locks it shut on mine broke. I just kind of left it. You may want to try focussalvage.com or ebay, they are pretty cheap. Otherwise go and raise sand at the dealership and they might fix it for you. [;)]

Ought to be under warranty, so try the dealership first.
I hated my armrest, it was always in the way, so I swapped it out for a SVT center console.

Depends on the milage and the warrenty. Mine broke early and they replaced it at no charge, but it broke again. Even with the extended warrenty they would NOT replace it.

Ouch, expect to pay $54 for a new one..... I was plaining on getting rid of the armrest so I could have clearance with my e-brake..... I wonder how the crap can I take it out?

How do you break the armrest??? Are they different on the earlier models or something? Mine are on the doors and I never touch them unless i'm opening the door.
