Ok so I've decided I'm going to be trading the focus in at the start of the new year. I'm going to get one of two cars but I just cannot for the life of me decide which one I want. I have my opinions but I want to hear from other people. So it's between the 2008 Nissan 350Z or the 2008 Mitsubishi Evo X. Please vote and then state your reasons... thanks.

Evo X if MR.
else Nissan 350z with Touring package.

at least, this is probably the order I'd look into.

I like the looks of a Z better. Performance of the Evo is probably better, and more forgiving to the driver...
The 350z can be made into one beautiful beast tho.

Yes, they will be bringing the MR back out. And yes I would be getting a Touring package 350Z if I were to buy one of those. I know that the 350 can be made extremely quick if the money is there... but after dropping the deposit on either car I wouldn't be able to make any huge mods for a while...?

I voted 350. Car and Driver did a test on an 08'. I can't find the mag. now, but the car did very well.

bein that you live in pittsburgh I'd take the evo for easier more fun inspired winter driving

If you have winter in any way shape or form, then the Evo - unless you have a dedicated winter car.

In principle, I like the 350Z better. That 3.5l engine is awesome, it's right-wheel-drive, they look beautiful. As a car to use every day, living in a winter climate and sometimes needing a back seat, the Evo X wins - and its not like its a bad consolation prize.

I'll be moving to myrtle beech this summer though so the car will never see winter?

350z definetly....amazing cars. throw a turbo on the VQ35 and you'll never regret it...

I think the 350Z looks better, but it is a personal opinion.
