Well IM a believer! I seen a 2005 focus today in COlumbus Ohio! It was a bluish purplish color, and had all its tags on it. no 30day or rental. It was ugly though. god was it ugly.

well, usually car companies dont advertise something they are not planning on selling, so since there are 05 focus adds, i would assume there are 05 focuses some where.

What I'd like to hear about is the first person to take one for a test drive (particularly the ZX4 ST). I guess someone did a while ago, I forget who that was but he got a chance to drive one way ahead of their release date.

Okay, so I guess now I'll have to scope out the dealer lots, I wanna test drive one and see what I think; the SVT and a base SPI LX are the only Focuses I've ever driven...

Have you guys checked out the new color choices on them yet? Tundra (like viney's car) and sonic blue.

After seeing the thread about the commercial the other day and looking at it, I'm really starting to like it (except for the engine choices...errrr)

I like it, gonna stay in the Zx3 family though. I asked my dealership that I deal with to let me know when the one I want comes in, and I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I also think they look pretty cool. I just don't understand why everyone hates them, maybe because they are jealous and are stuck with the ones they have? haha, j/k.

I think it's still weird for some because they're different. A lot of people didn't like the original Focus styling, but I feel like a lot of people have changed their minds about that. I like the euro treatment exterior they gave it... I'll have to see the interior for myself to make a call on that one, and the engines- well I'd have to drive it.

I don't like the 05 focus at all. All i have seen is the sedan. I hope the hatch looks better.

it seems like every time i see the 05 focus it grows on me...

now i am starting to like the stupid thing.

i still dont like the interior, or the trunk, but hey, the rest looks pretty good, IMO

p.s. i just glanced through the colors, that blazing copper and light tundra look pretty sweet. if i was not so strapped for cash, i might trade my 03 in.

Awww, crap. I just noticed this - Sonic Blue is available as a color for all Focuses now. One of the main reasons I like Sonic Blue is that you DON'T SEE SIX MILLION OTHER FOCUSES IN THE SAME COLOR!!

There goes that "exclusive" aspect of owning a Sonic Blue SVT. I guess it probably won't be that popular though, Mustangs and Tauruses are available in that color and I still don't see a lot of them. Having a hint of purple in your paint isn't for everyone, it takes a guy with confidence in his manhood to drive a car that everybody thinks is purple. [rolleyes]
