I live iN Cali,

I want a pretty dark tint, I have a aqua blue 07.

I'm really not up on what percent tint looks like what.

Could anyone help me out.

i beleive its 15% in rear and 35% up front.

sorry guys i might be in a different california than you bcuz in orange county it's no tint up front...i have 50% in front and 5% in the back and i've been pulled over twice with a warning

When I lived in San Jose, it was no tint on the front and I forgot what it was on the rear. I did a lighter tint on my front (Mustang) and had no problems with the police.

i thought it was as dark as you wanted on the sides and back, with nothing up front...however your supposed to have pass. side mirror if you do the back IIRC

U can go 5% in the back, but don't touch the front ones.

I really want to do the fronts. Don't some people do I really dark in the back and leave the fronts not as dark?

I obvisouly won't do the Front Windshield(LOL) do most sedan drivers do their back window?

Not sure. So If I go 5 percent in the back, what would that look like.

actually, they can and will pull a person over if the tint is too dark, especially during the day if they can't see you.
I had to spend half a day getting my tint tested due to a cop, not being able to see me inside the vehicle as he went by. only to find i was legal... barely.
pretty much hit and miss and how bored the cop is.

Well if U want ur windows tinted in the front, that will attract highway patrol in a heartbeat.

most people are unaware of the tint laws here, because they think theres none here.

But my avatar has a estimate on what it looks like.

I live in Nor Cal too and I've never been a fan of limo dark in the rear and nothing on the front sides...looks too chopped up to me.That being said,if you don't go too dark in the rear,you can put a light tint in front...even though it's not legal...and you won't attract "that" kind of attention from the good guys.

I have 5% on all my back windows.. Can't do anything in the front here.. 5% is nice. Sometimes it sucks when there are no street lights or anything behind ya.. Can't see [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)].. Lol..
