this is just a general question cuz a lot of my friends are mustang guys and ive heard a lot of their cars....do the prochargers on the focus whine at idle and under load like they do on stangs?

Yes, they do. Just the same as the stangs. It is mostly from the straight-cut gears in the unit. If you have heard a stang , you"ve heard the focus.

actually ya...cuz turbos are def not legal and the uninstall time for smog is sooo high.

im sure your exhaust kinda drones it out under boost...

Theyre not nearly as loud as a Mustangs except at idle and theyre fairly noisy at idle. They also sound as if theyre knocking at idle too.

My friend has a PW on his Zetec and it total opposite of mine PC setup...at idle, u can't tell that he is boosted, and my car "squeaking" so u know there is either SC of something wrong with it heheheh..under boost his PW is 1000000x louder and has nice wheeeeeeeeeeeeee sound ;-)

^^^ Exactly...I'm saying this because I have SVT with Procharger, ZTW N/A and I see the rpm differences between those two cars....SVT loves higher RPMs....my Friend has his ZX5 with PW and it's totally different car....I love it....
