I REALLY want to ad a turbo to my 2.3 hatch, but I have a question for those of you with this kit.

Can I install this!?

I was an A automotive highschool student, and in the fall I start going to school for Auto, so I do have a slightly above average knowledge of my vehicle.

The thing is, I get nervous when trying to do things to my own vehicle, especially because I have never attempted to do such a thing before.

Is there anything that you need to fab yourself?
Are there holes that need to be tapped or threaded? <stuff like that bothers me.

How long should this take to do, and can I do it in my driveway?

You guys are great, hook me up with some info. [strongman]

You should be fine. You do not need to fab anything everything comes in the kit.

I have put one in. It comes with everything you need, except of course the tools, which are just the basics really. Nothing to fab, no holes to drill, etc. If you get a buddy to help, it should take 10-12 hours for the stage 1. A basic understanding of engines is really all you need. Besides, if you get stuck, Randy(from FocusSport) is ALWAYS available via PM. VERY helpful, professional, etc. Good Luck!

Follow up comment. Are you planning this for your 03? That would be a zetec correct? I think that superchargers are the route for zetecs, (which focussport also sells)

If it's the 2.3, it SHOULD be a Duratec.

Its an 03 Duratec hatch. I'm slowly building the confidence to attempt this.

Green states and states bordering green states were able to get a hold of 03 Focus' with the 2.3 for the 2003 physical year.
