If I were to go turbo would I NEED to go with a 3 inch exhaust or would I be alright with a normal magnaflow or borla?

3 would be better. everything else would be to constrictive. backpressure is your enemy.

The bigger the better. 3" is optimal.

how much boost are you going to push? minimal boost would only require a 2.5.

Well if I do go FI I've decided on toms kit and I'm shooting for somwhere between 240-260 at the wheels.

I was GOING to say that if you just wanna go turbo, the stock exhaust is fine. The question is how much you want to get out of the system.

THEN i read the part about 240-260 at the wheels.... in that case, you're gonna need ALL the help you can get. I'd probably shoot for the 3" if I were you.

yeah, with the three inch catback, flex, and hi-flow cat/offroad pipe, you should be pushing out some good power. get a new throttle body and a ported intake manifold, along with new rubber, and you should have plenty of pwoer on tap.

hmm could you maybe dump your exhaust in front of the rear wheels, like the mustangs do

that'd be kinda cool, but i dont' raelly think it's necessary.
