Tom, I have a turbonetics t3 super 60 with the .48 ar stage V exhaust housing. How would changing the housing to a .63 or a .82 stage v ehaust housing affect the hp/tq and spool up time. I know the larger ar you go the slower the spool up and the more potential to make power, but in your experiences has it made much of a difference, and where would the power peek out at with them, as well as the differences in spool up times?

The .63 your looking at 2 maybe 300 rpm spoolup slower and about 8 to 15hp gain and the ,82 your looking at about 3 to 500 slower for about 150 to 20hp gain

What do you think the most whp is possable with the .82ar?

Depends on the size of the turbo... my last turbo was a .86 ar and I made 363whp with it.
What the ar mainly does is the larger the ar the farther up the rpm range you will make your power. smaller ar's spool quicker... but may run out of steam up high (depending on the size of the turbo)... and just the opposite for large ar's.

Its a t3 super 60 stage V, I was wondering about that turbo with the .82 ar
