Hey tom I am going to be buying a JRSC for my 2000 ZX3 5 spd. I will be using a 2.3" pulley and hooking the SC into my volant air intake. I also have an SVT header, orp, 2.25" magnaflow cat back. Would you be able to do a tune on a Diablo predator for this set up?

Sure if the SVT is here , why not put a turbo on it ?

Lol I have 2 ZX3 Focus one is a 2000 and one is a 2002. I am asking about a JRSC for my 2000 ZX3. My 2002 focus has the engine out and in pieces. That is getting built with a turbo. The 2000 is getting a cheapie used JRSC so it isn't a total snail. So back to the question can I get a tune on a Diablo for this setup and maybe do some data logging to fine tune? I won't be able to come down there to run on the dyno till I get my other car with the turbo done then I can bring them both down on the trailer.

Hello...? Need a tune for a 2000 ZX3 Focus 5 spd JFA8 ECU code. Mods are JRSC 2.3" pulley with 65mm TB, blower is ported for the 65mm TB, Volant intake with ram air scoop, SVT header without EGR, 2 1/4" orp, flex pipe, and magnaflow cat back. I want a tune on a predator what will this cost me? The blower is getting sent to me tuesday so I would like to get the flasher soon. Thanks,

Clint

The Predator wont work on the ZX3 , we could do it with the XCAL2 , that way you could log and we could make changes

Ah I see now I feel stupid I didn't know they didn't work on a ZX3. If I were to buy a SCT PRP for this car I would have to buy a whole other one for my other ZX3 when I tune it or will my software work for both? I think I have to buy a flasher and a PRP for both? I would like to be able to play with stuff myself so this may be the route I will take. My plan for this car down the road is to build the bottom end then tap the jrsc for a direct port nitrous system. If I decide to do the SCT PRP can you do a base tune on it for me then I could modify it from there after I get it all running?

i think you buy the rights to each ecu code that you do so you could probably buy the rights for both and it be a lot cheaper than buying a seperate package for each one. that is if im not mistaken, but that is what ive gotten out of what i have read.

If there both the same ECU code you would just need a xcal2

Yes either way

How much are the SCT PRP packages just under $700 right? Then what will you charge me total with a base tune on it. I just got the JRSC I see the tips of the rotors have some light scratches in them on the tips, how bad can this be before it will cause a problem like loss of pressure? Maybe I can send you some pics if you would like to see it. The bearing feels tight though as far as I can tell. I am going to have to talk to you about those engine parts again too my dad talked me into going with the CGI block/billet rods and just taking longer to finish. I will have this JRSC to keep me happy till I can finish that project. Do you still have that CGI block I told you I didn't want? I have the money for it now should I get the diamond pistons myself and send them to you so you can hone that block out?

I am going to see if I can get some specs on the clearances and measure it. I think it is ok also it is basicly just into the coating not much scoring into the metal. I will also be needing all the gaskets like the one for the manifold to the head and the blower to manifold gasket. Do you know where I can buy these or should I just make some?
