I don't know what to think. The article was written on April 1st, so I am inclined to believe this is an April Fools prank, but time will tell.

Yes but he kept refering to it a TDi which is trademaked by VW. Hence why I think it is a April Fools prank.

yea, definitly april fools joke...corvette enthusiast are not going to want a twin turbo diesel in their car, even though they are going to make a supercharged "blue devil" a N?A corvette with high horsepower is still the engine of choice.

....yyyyyeah, an april fools joke, and I'd put money on it. Its a decent joke, though not well executed.

In terms of realistic possibility, I'd place a diesel Vette about on par with a 4-door sedan and 5-door family wagon versions.
